The School Completion Programme was introduced in 2002. There are currently five such programmes operational in Co. Wexford. The School Completion Programme focuses on young people aged between 4 and 18 years. The programme forms part of the Dept. of Education & Skills Social Inclusion Strategy (DEIS) to help children and young people who are at risk of or who are experiencing educational disadvantage.

SWWFRC provides training under our Local Training Initiative (LTI) in partnership with WWETB in Ramsgrange. We are currently delivering Office Skills Level 4, and will also be delivering Office Administration Level 5. In addition, since September 2025 we have been delivering the Certificate in Community Studies (Special Purpose Award) in partnership with SETU.

The HSE Substance Misuse Team operates under the Social Inclusion Department of the HSE. In Wexford the Team consists of a Co-ordinator, two Addiction Counsellors and one Liaison Nurse. This team offers counselling and detox services. Team members can also access residential services in the Aisling Centre for those requiring this service.

Target Age Groups Teen parents aged 19 years and under up until their child reaches 2 years of age.

Eligibility Criteria Pregnant or parent up to the age of 19 years until the child reaches 2 years of age.

Youth New Ross is a community based organisation that delivers youth work, youth justice and family support in the New Ross and greater South Wexford area.

This service assists those experiencing or in danger of experiencing difficulty in dealing with financial problems to address difficulties and support them in their efforts.

Local community based projects that work with children to encourage them to move away from negative behaviour that might lead them into trouble. Projects offer a wide variety of activities based on the needs of their target area. Activities may include education, training, sports, art, music, group activities etc.

The HSE Social Inclusion Office funds the following posts to work with Roma, Refugee and LGBTI community members in Co. Wexford.
