Family Support

Community based family support project.

The FRC programme is Irelands largest family support programme delivering universal services to families in disadvantaged areas across the country based on a life cycle approach.

Formerly "Family Life Service Counselling", the Ford Counselling and Psychotherapy Centre provides the following;

Target Age Group Adult Only (18yrs+)

Eligibility Criteria Client in need of counselling

Referrals Referrals taken through school teachers, school completion programme, parents and from other projects as well as young persons counsellor.

Eligibility Criteria Youth Café Drop In : 13-21 years. Drugs services and family support provide by appointment.

Wexford County Council operates a Homeless Service and Support Unit.  The service is managed by the Homeless Co-ordinator and is staffed by two Social Care Workers and the Homeless Place Finder.  The coverage area for this service is countywide.

Do you need some advice and support about your child?  If so, come to one of our Drop-In services.  This is a free and confidential service. 

A client-centred support service for those who have been affected by domestic, sexual or gender based violence including women, men, young people and all persons of different sexual or gender identities.  Located in Wexford, Gorey, Enniscorthy and New Ross.

Services provided include ;

Referrals Referrals are made through Social Workers, Family Support Workers, School Completion, family members, self-referrals, Community Welfare, Womens’ Refuge, Community Development Workers by contacting FDYS main office. Home visits if requested.

Youth New Ross is a community based organisation that delivers youth work, youth justice and family support in the New Ross and greater South Wexford area.
