The "Ability Programme" at Wexford Local Development supports young people with an intellectual disability aged between 16 and 29. It is for people who are not yet work ready, to move closer to the labour market through individualised training and support. The programme is part-timeand works aloongside services so that participants can benefit from both.
Interview and Training Dates : Interviews for new recruits will take palce in December 2020, with training starting in January 2021. The programme will conclude in July 2021.
Application Process : Applications for the programme, which will be subject to interview, can be made by serive providers through a referral form or through an independent self-referral.
