This programme is funded by the Department of Education & Skills and SOLAS to provide accredited and non-accredited education and training for early school leavers. We offer the Leaving Certificate Applied 2 Year Programme and QQI (formerly FETAC) Levels 2 and 3 programmes. The Youthreach programme caters for 16-21 year olds that have left school with little or no qualifications.
Referrals : Students must have written confirmation that they have left their last school. They can self-refer or be referred by statutory and voluntary agencies.
Eligibility Criteria : Youthreach students must be aged 16-20 years and have left the mainstream school system with poor qualifications or none.
Youthreach runs from late August to the middle of July with short closures at Christmas and Easter.
