What is the Programme About?
The aim of this programme is to support adults in later life and those working with tehm to work towards change both on a personal and a societal level. The main objective is to develop critical awareness among students of the impact society has on the lives of older adults and to maximise opportunity for creative, physical and psychology engagement in teh third phase of life.
Who might be Interested? : Social Care graduates, Home Care attendants via HSE, those engaged in front line services to older people and those who wish to explore their own ageing.
What are the Minimum Entry Requirements? : All applicants will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Lifelong Learning reservices teh right to require applicants to attend for an interview to determine their suitability for the programme.

Duration : 13 weeks part-time (1 evening per week 7pm-10pm with some Saturdays throughout the year).
